Session 1: Comfort and Confidence Outside: Plants
Saturday, Sept. 27 1-2:30pm - Session 1 Get to Know the Woods and Its Plants
This class is designed to empower adults and kids to feel more comfortable and confident spending time outside. If you dream of spending time in the woods but aren’t sure what plants to avoid, what to do if you see a snake, or what clothes will keep you and your family comfortable - this class is for you!
Through guided walks, gentle exploration, stories, mindful observation, nature journaling and simple hands-on activities, adults and children alike will deepen their connection and awareness of the natural world.
This class takes place over three sessions, but can each be enjoyed individually. See details for each class in chronological order
Ticket price is for 1 adult and 1 child, additional family members can be added for $20 apiece.
