Sylvan Park After School Program

Tuesdays

March 17-May 19

Dismissal until 5pm

3rd, 4th, and 5th grades

$300 per child or a PTO scholarship*

This club leads children outside in all weather to explore Richland Creek Greenway, the surrounding woods, and creek! Teachers “pick up” the students at school and walk together to the greenway. Parents pick up at the Greenway Trailhead at 5pm, except for PNA students who the teachers walk back to school.

Mandatory: New parent & child orientation on Zoom

Dates there is possibly no school, but club will still be held:

Spring Weather can be COLD and WET. On cold and wet days, children MUST have adequate clothing to participate. On the coldest days this could mean: long base layers (pants&long sleeve), rain coat, rain pants and rain boots, and we suggest a water bottle and snack.

Fall Weather can be HOT and uncomfortable to hike without water. On those days, water bottles are strongly recommended. Water shoes for the creek (in addition to dry shoes for walking) are recommended. Kids love to have a snack too, but is not mandatory.

Unsafe Weather: This is rare, but if storms are likely during club, we will cancel club by 12pm noon by text and email.

2) Sign the Nature Explorers 2026 Waiver (if not a Spring Club student)

3) Add “Sylvan Park Club” to website cart, go to cart to pay and register.
