Plants and Potions: Learn to identify edible and medicinal plants and make a first aid salve, sun tea, a tasty multi-vitamin, and a yummy summer treat! Collect, smash, stir, and make wild potions for fun or for real!
River Life: Explore the aquatic life of the Harpeth River! Catch and identify the minnows, frogs, and birds, take breaks to float to the swimming hole, or hang out on the bank in the hammocks!
Children should be prepared for days completely outdoors exposed to the elements, including playing in creeks or the Harpeth River!
If your child cannot confidently swim, they are required to bring a lifejacket.
Appropriate clothing and gear will be required, and families should pack lunch, snack, and water (no drinking water on location).
Appropriate clothing includes:
Breathable Long -Pants (for bugs and sun)
Breathable Long Sleeves (for bugs and sun)
Comfortable tee/undershirt/tanktop
Quick drying shorts
Close toed water shoes for creek and water play
Sun hat, sunscreen
Bug spray
Change of clothes
Swim suit
Towel
Optional gear: a Crazy Creek Chair or Camp chair or blanket to sit on, floats for creek and river play, camping hammocks to hang, change of shoes in case one pair gets wet
About Parks Operations
Please note we are officially permitted to operate out of each park at which we run programs. We pay the necessary permit, operation, and licensing fees.
Refund Policy
If a family decides not to attend camp after registering, here are the policies:
If you cancel before May 1st, you are eligible for a partial refund of the camp fee less $100 per child per week. (If you paid $350 for one week of camp for one child, you would be refunded $250.)
If you cancel on May 1st or later, no refunds will be offered.

To register for camp, please click the button below to register and pay. Be sure you have read and agree to all policies (see above) before completing the registration process.
To select multiple camp weeks, please add each week to your cart separately. To register multiple children, please change the quantity to the appropriate number. Upon checkout, you can pay for everything at once.
